Oh, my God. A 7.5-foot long dugong (Dugong dugon) was found dead Thursday morning in Mati City, Davao Oriental.
Dead.
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources has yet to determine the cause of death but they say the dugong died at around 3 a.m. Thursday.
The dead dugong has been brought to the Davao Oriental State College of Science and Technology for necropsy.
